등록일 대신에 최근 수정일을 최근게시물 위젯에 출력하려면...

안녕하세요.
최근게시물을 콘텐츠 위젯+나라디자인 스킨으로 구현하고 있는데,
등록일 출력부분이 이렇게 되어 있더군요.
<td class="time"><span class="date">{$item->getRegdate("Y-m-d")}</span> <span class="hour">{$item->getRegdate("H:i")}</span></td>
이 부분을 최근수정일로 고치려면 어떻게 해야 하나요?
<td class="time"><span class="date">{$item->get('last_update')("Y-m-d")}</span> 이렇게 하니까 에러가 나더군요;;
도움 부탁드립니다.
